Whatever brings you to visit me, I'm glad you're here. Together we can learn and teach to live a life free of 'dis-ease'.
Holistic Living takes patience and practice, but this lifelong journey of well-being is one I am pleased to learn
with you. At first my interests were out of necessity due to illness but later grew to be a passion and lifestyle. I
am eager to share with you what I am learning.
I am currently enrolled in the Australasian College of Health Sciences
for my study of Natural Health. My journey with ACHS has just begun. As I learn, I will share my experiences and knowledge
so that we may all live in better harmony with ourselves and Mother Earth. At ACHS, I will become certified in the following
The study or use of medicinal herbs to prevent and treat diseases and ailments or to promote health and healing.
Holistic Nutrition addresses digestion, balance, and moderation for each individual by taking into account the affects
of their environment: emotional, mental, and physical. This system of nutrition emphasizes the use of foods, supplements,
and fitness for the whole-body.
The use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being.
Flower Remedies works with a system of 38 Flower Essences that corrects emotional imbalances. Developed during
the 1930's by Dr Edward Bach, the different remedies are given according to a person's personality type. The energy of the
plants is captured in water and applied directly onto the tongue or in a liquid carrier including water, tea or coffee.
The study of the iris of the eye in relation to the body's health.
Ultimately, these certifications will provide me with a Diploma in Holistic Health Practice. After my graduation,
I plan to open The Holistic Dragonfly™ shop to bring education, products, and practice to my local community.
I am happily married to a wonderful and supportive man, Joshua. Together with our dog Bits, we live in Germany and enjoy
world travel, outdoor adventures, and taking in the newest movies at the theatre.
Other goals and interests of mine include anthropology, art, photography, and reading. I plan to continue my
education with a degree in Anthropology to incorporate the medicinal methods of cultures young and old.
